About me

I am Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology and Ethics at Providence Theological Seminary, in Manitoba, Canada.

I am an evangelical Protestant with a generally Calvinist theology but a Baptist ecclesiology.

I grew up in India as an MK and served in the Philippines for 16 years, teaching at Asian Theological Seminary. I have been teaching theology since 1967, and I teach because I love to learn and to help others to learn, particularly when our goal is to get to know God better.

I am married to Gail, who is Professor Emerita of TESOL at Providence Theological Seminary. God has blessed us with 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
